Maria recently celebrated the end of her cancer treatments surrounded by friends and family at a Relay for Life event in Connecticut.  Hooray Maria!  It is so clear to me,  despite the brief time I was able to visit, that Maria is dearly loved and has been passionately supported through her journey. I’m so glad that Maria asked me to document her celebration with a few photographs.  What a fabulous event and what a wonderful group of people.

Oh, those sweet red curls and gray blue eyes!  I am so lucky!  And, a beautiful new baby sister for this family to love.

The personalities of these two gorgeous ladies reminds me so much of my own girls’ personalities.  One more contemplative, and the other more free spirited.  These images begin to capture a bit of that, along with their special connection.  What a fun, most beautiful evening for a photo session in Connecticut.

I recently packed my camera and photographed  families and children across New Jersey, Connecticut, and New York.  Of course, the families are just as gorgeous and just as wonderful as the families I photograph here in Michigan.  How do I get so lucky to have the nicest clients no matter where I go?!

I met this inquisitive, handsome, super smart, super fast 18 month in New Jersey.

Such a gorgeous baby at the most perfect age for photographs.  She sat most beautifully posed, with the most solemn, intelligent expressions.  It was not until I made an utter fool of myself, dancing and jumping, and making crazy faces that she flashed her brilliant, truly amused smiles.   I cannot wait until she begins to talk so I can finally find out what she’s thinking!  What a smart girl!
